The Cochrane Community Awards 2017 event was held Sunday afternoon at the Cochrane Ranchehouse. The nominations for the many categories showed just how fortunate Cochrane is to have so many wonderful individuals, groups, and businesses making contributions to our community. Thank you to the Cochrane Community Awards program for all their work.
St. Andrew’s United is so proud of our minister, Ray Goodship, for receiving the “Citizen of the Year” Award, in recognition of his outstanding and ongoing contributions to our community! Congratulations Ray!
In addition, our Community Lunch program, initiated by Ray in recent years, and sustained by numerous enthusiastic volunteers every Tuesday for the Free Lunch program, was the recipient of the “Equity & Inclusion Champion of the Year” Award! Carole Clement accepted this Award on behalf of St. Andrew’s. Kudos to Ray and all our St. Andrew’s volunteers for making this possible!
