The latest Cochrane & Area Food Drive was held Saturday, April 29. Over 30 of our St. Andrew’s volunteers met at our church at 9:30 a.m., listened to the plan from Georges Tambay, got their maps, and headed out. It was a sunny and reasonably warm spring day, a great day for all of the community-wide volunteers for the collection phase. After dropping off collected items at the Bow Valley Baptist Church, all volunteers could then enjoy a coffee, snack/lunch, and a chat with friends. Unless they were still hard at work sorting and then boxing the non-perishable food items for a couple of more hours. Kudos to all who participated. Please read the Thank You letter, below, from the Helping hands Society.
The next Food Drive is Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at the Spray Lakes Sports Centre. Hope to see you then.
