Saturday, March 25th, we hosted the Tea for Local Producers. 10-12 noon. Over a 100 people from the community came to learn about our local food producers. Always informative, interesting, with a glimpse into the lives of some of the farmers and ranchers who produce our food. “Grizzly bears getting into my bee hives and eating my honey!” These producers generally have a significant negative carbon footprint! Kudos to Mireille Hamel and her volunteers for making this event happen.
