The Cochrane Community Awards were held Sunday, May 29.
What an afternoon! St. Andrew’s United was at the Cochrane Community Awards event, held at Cochrane Ranchehouse Sunday afternoon. Cochrane can be so proud of each of the Award Nominees. Our Reverend Ray Goodship’s hard work in our community had earned him an individual nominee for “Equity & Inclusion Champion of the Year”, while St. Andrew’s United Church itself was nominated for two categories – “Community Builder of the Year” and “Volunteer Group of the Year” – both related to our Free Tuesday Lunch program for the community. What an honour. Thanks to all of you at St. Andrew’s who volunteer. The winners in each category were all superb, and it was an absolute pleasure to learn about their contributions to the vibrancy of our community.
